This weekend, PingPong.gives presents the 8th Annual SLAMFest Friday, September 8th and a PingPongforCharity Amateur Tournament September 9th at the Virginia Beach Field House.
Organizers say the charity event this year will reach more then $500,000 raised in support of local charities.
Meanwhile, the organization is encouraging schools and retirement communities to take up the sport as a great way to build brain power.
