September 10 is nationally recognized as TV Dinner Day.

Do you remember curling up in front of the TV as a kid with a hot TV dinner on your lap? Or maybe you still enjoy the dish!

Swanson food company claims credit for inventing TV dinners back in 1954.

Their version was called the “Swanson TV Dinner.”

Some say the glory of the meal is that you cover most of the food pyramid in one package deal.

Today’s frozen meals come in many different forms, from healthier diet options, to bean burritos, but they all can do one thing… be eaten in front of the TV!
