Good Samaritan chases down man accused of taking pictures up woman’s dress

“Oh my God, could this be happening? Cause there’s kids and there’s people everywhere!” that was Mark Morgan’s initial thought, last week when he saw something unusual inside the Goodwill on South Street in Simpsonville.

“I came across this isle and I noticed this gentleman with his arm stretched out taking a picture, up this lady’s dress… and I was like oh my God!” said Morgan.

He said he was shopping for a dresser in the store with his mother, and said the man noticed him and moved on through the store. “I asked the lady, I said, did you know this gentleman was taking pictures up your dress? And she was like No No No!”

That’s when Morgan said his instincts kicked in, and he took after the man snapping pictures. “Sir get over here! Get over here now! Causing a scene, it was right there behind the registers,” said Morgan.

He said he then asked the man why he was taking pictures up the woman’s dress, he says the man responded saying he didn’t do it.”I said the manager has caught you on camera, and he was like no, no, no! Let me see, let me see!” said Morgan.

Simpsonville Police said the video surveillance from inside the Goodwill throughout their investigation to help write up an arrest warrant.

In the warrant, police identify the suspected photographer, as Jose Anastacio Ontiveros-Aguilar. The warrant then said “the defendant did for the purpose of arousing or gratifying sexual desire photograph a female underneath her dress using a cell phone without her consent and knowledge of the victim while the victim had a reasonable expectation of privacy.

“It freaked me out, that he could be doing something like that with kids and other women around, and he’s just doing it like he’s a pro at it,” said Morgan.

The suspect is expected to be charged with Voyeurism, and is still at large.
