Hampton Police investigating Pizza Hut armed robbery

HAMPTON, Va. – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant in the 2700 block of West Mercury Boulevard.

The call came in on Friday just before 9 p.m.

According to police, the suspect came into the restaurant, pulled out a gun and demanded cash. Once he received the money, he left the restaurant and ran away.

There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6′ tall, and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and a black hat with gold writing on it.

The suspect had a dark-colored medium framed handgun.
