SUFFOLK, Va. – Fire & Rescue crews were called to the Bon Secours at Harbour View medical facility on a report of a smell of smoke Friday morning.
Crews were called to the building shortly before 10:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke in several areas of the building and, as a result, evacuated portions of the building.
Crews were able to isolate the issue to an air conditioning unit on the roof.
There was no active fire, and the affected areas of the building were ventilated by Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel.
No one was injured during the incident.
