HAMPTON ROADS, Va.  - Grocery shelves are completely empty in some stores as shoppers clear out the water supply, canned goods, flashlights and other necessities.

Officials have warned residents from Florida to Virginia to take precautions and stock up now, which is evident in the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Kempsville.

Kroger Marketplace in Virginia Beach is not out of water and they said they have not run out yet but they do plan on getting another shipment mid-day just to be safe.

Florida, North and South Carolina stores are having a similar issue as they try to keep water on the shelves.
