Williamsburg, Va. - Grafton came out of the gates swinging. The Clippers (5-1) put a touchdown on the board less than 90 seconds into the game. The three-play drive was highlighted by an Isiah Hawkins 57 yard run out the gates that put Grafton inside the 10-yard line. Demetrius Moore would punch it in to give Grafton an early edge.
Lafayette was held scoreless through the first quarter but came alive to score 29 unanswered points before halftime. Kyle Johnson rumbled for 92 yards and Virginia Tech commit Hezekiah Grimsley added two touchdown receptions and an interception to help the Rams pull past the Clippers 50-18.
