ROBESON Co., N.C. – Governor Pat McCrory visited a North Carolina shelter Wednesday to hear from those displaced by Hurricane Matthew.
McCrory met with residents staying at Purnell Swett High School to hear about the impact the hurricane had on their lives.
He reassured a group of people telling them he had already spoken to President Obama three times this week about rebuilding after the storm.
“Our next step is to get you out of here… we’re still in recovery,” McCrory said.
