LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – Redskins tight end Jordan Reed did not practice Wednesday. According to head coach Jay Gruden, Reed is in concussion protocol.
Reed caught eight passes for 53 yards in Sunday’s win at Baltimore. Gruden says Reed experienced symptoms during workouts Tuesday.
The fourth year tight end has a history of head injuries. After suffering two concussions in college at Florida, Reed has missed NFL games due to head injuries in both 2013 and 2015.
