Vehicle hits Virginia State Police car Wednesday morning

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A Virginia State Police car was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning.

Around 2:00 a.m, a Virginia State Trooper contacted their Communications Center about their vehicle being hit from behind near a safety work zone on I-264 west of Lynnhaven Parkway.

No injuries were reported in this crash.

A 2015 silver Nissan involved in the crash was said to be driven by a black male subject. The car has been located, but found abandoned.

State Police are still investigating this crash and are looking for the driver of the vehicle.
