RALEIGH, N.C. – Disaster Recovery Centers have opened in Bertie and Pitt Counties.
Residents who suffered extreme and damages from Hurricane Matthew can go to the centers to get information about state and federal assistance.
FEMA representitives, North Carolina Emergency Management and U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the centers to help educate survivors on different types of federal assistance and how they can sign up for assistance.
The centers will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
