FAIRFAX, Va. – Musician and actress Miley Cyrus visited Virginia this weekend to talk to Virginia voters.
Cyrus visited George Mason University to campaign for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine on Saturday.
Cyrus surprised students by door-knocking for Clinton at the GMU dorms.
“As an advocate for LGBTQ rights, gender equality and environmental issues, Cyrus will knock on doors to speak to students about the high stakes in this election for millennial voters,” a Clinton campaign spokesperson said.
While Cyrus was in Northern Virginia, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was in Hampton Roads.
Trump returned to Virginia for a campaign rally in Virginia Beach at Regent University on Saturday afternoon.
