WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - People say Colonial Williamsburg is the most haunted place in Virginia.

Ghost hunters consider the town to be one of the best places to look for scary sightings. There are even ghost hunting conventions that meet in the city for that reason alone.

Founded in 1632, it's no wonder that there's some historical haunting going on in the old homes and streets.

While stories have evolved and may have a bit of a tourist aspect now, some truly believe that there's too much paranormal and suspicious activity to deny the historical hauntings.

To celebrate Halloween, Colonial Williamsburg is hosting a number of events.

They have an official ghost walk and the typical historical interpreters are donning some new, scarier clothing.

They're also putting on the 'Curse of the Sea Witch', a full night of haunted activities. This includes the Haunting on DoG Street, the Tavern of Terror and much more.
