NORFOLK, Va. - Khizr Khan campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Norfolk on Wednesday.
Khan spoke at the Democratic convention in July, launching him and his wife to a high profile position. Khan is also featured in a new Clinton campaign ad, talking about his son's death during the Iraq war.
Khan visited a Mosque and met with veterans and elected officials.
He also attended a volunteer appreciation event at the Norfolk Clinton campaign office.
"What is at stake is the position of the Commander in Chief in this country not only the presidency, but the commander in chief of this country," said Khan, who became emotional several times when talking about his son. "If we had ten sons we are willing to sacrifice for the benefit of this country," he said.
