Two victims robbed at gunpoint by people they knew in Gloucester

GLOUCESTER Va. – Two people were walking on Lees Neck Farm Road when they were robbed at gunpoint on Friday.

The two victims told the Sheriff’s Office that a vehicle approached them and four men got out of the car with multiple firearms.

The suspects demanded them to give them their belongings. During the encounter one of the suspects shot at the ground with a handgun.

The suspects then fled the area in a vehicle  and the victims called 911. According to the two victims, they knew the four men who robbed them and were able to provide names and descriptions to deputies.

Authorities spotted the suspect vehicle that was described while it was traveling southbound on George Washington Memorial Highway near Short Lane.

Deputies stopped the vehicle at a Wawa Gas Station and took the suspects into custody without an incident.

All four men have been arrested and charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of  Felony, and two counts of Abduction. Authorities have not released information about the abduction charge.
