Dry, cool and spooky conditions for Halloween….Our weather is looking great for trick-or-treating!

As we move through our Monday, expect a mix of sun and clouds across the area. Highs will be in the lower 60s. Our winds have been breezy, mainly from the north around 10 and 20 mph, with gusts up to 25 along the coast. Our winds will subside a bit by evening, just in time for trick-or-treating. In fact, as all of the kids (and adults) are heading out for candy, expect mostly clear skies. Temperatures will start to fall into the upper 50s by trick-or-treat time. Later this evening, we’ll see the temperatures fall into the low and mid 50s. Then, overnight, lows will settle into the mid and upper 40s.

On Tuesday, after a chilly start, we’ll see highs rising into the mid 60s by afternoon under a mix of sun and clouds. We’re expecting dry weather Tuesday as well as on Wednesday. In fact, we’ll see more sunshine with highs in the low and mid 70s as our winds shift from the southwest.

By Thursday, highs will creep up into the upper 70s to near 80, but the warm up won’t last long. A cold front will slide through late Thursday, giving way to a few scattered showers. Most of the rain should be offshore by Friday morning. But the front will lower our temperatures. Highs on Friday will be in the lower 60s. Expect mid 60s by the weekend.

This Afternoon: Sun and Clouds. Cool and Windy. Highs in the low 60s. Winds: NNE 10-20 mph, G30.

Tonight: Mostly Clear. Lows in the mid and upper 40s. Winds: NE/E 5-10 mph.

Tuesday: Sun and Clouds. Mild. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds: E/SE 5-10 mph.

Wednesday: A Few Clouds. Warmer. Highs in the low and mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
