White paper notes or even store brought cards can be the “norm” when showing someone appreciation or even just leaving a simple note. I have something that can be used for a number of things that you can create yourself: Old-Fashioned Stationary! Well its not actually old, it just looks old and I am here to show you how to get that old fashioned effect.
Here is what you will be for the for stationary:
- 2-3 packs of ground coffee
- White printer paper
- 1 large bowls
- Lighter
- Boiling hot water
Now, here’s how you make it!
Step 1 - Burn the edges of the white printer paper with your lighter
Step 2 – Place half of the coffee inside the large bowl
Step 3 – Place your burnt printer paper inside the large bowl and put other half of coffee beans on top of paper
Step 4 – Pour the boiling water over top and get sit for 30 minutes or overnight
Step 6 - Gently pull the stained piece of paper out and gently wash coffee residue off
Step 7 – Let paper dry and design.
You can use the old-stationed paper for décor in your home, to write a letter or even put it into a time capsule or use it for a kids project. This is a creative way to take the “norm” and turn it into something new and exciting.
Motivation Check!
This week I want to shed light on you leaving the past behind and moving toward the future. It's all about knowing where you came from to get where you have to go.
In the words Benjamin Dover, “It’s okay to look back at the past. Just don’t stare."
Always remember you were born an original so stay that way. Have a great day! OKAY!
