HAMPTON, Va. - YH Thomas Community Center's 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat took Halloween by storm.
The Community Center strives to provide a "Safe Haven" for local kids to treat-or-trick or, in this case, “trunk-or-treat” on Halloween.
Instead of going house to house, the center partners up with local car clubs so kids can go car to car to get candy.
The community center has also partnered with Dr. Ridley & Hampton Roads Cardiology, Virginia Lady Warriors Basketball team, The Hampton Roads chapter of National Pan-Hellenic Council and North Star Cadillac Club, among other groups, to donate all the candy and fun!
The event was held both inside and outside of the center with a number of special surprises that included a Haunted Hallway, candy apples, food, games and a photo booth.
YH Thomas Community Center is the heart of the neighborhood and prides themselves on creating a “tradition of excellence”.
This trunk-or-treat event has grown quickly in it's five year history - with over 650 children attending this year.
Now, Always remember you were born an original so stay that way ! Have a great day ! OKAY!
