VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – An early morning fire destroyed a Virginia Beach home on Wednesday.
Fire crews were called to the 3800 block of Windsor Gate around 1:27 a.m. Firefighters worked until 1:50 a.m. to put the fire out.
No one was injured in the fire. Neighbors told News 3 on scene that the family had a dog and he got out safely as well.
Fire officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire but plan on continuing their investigation in the daylight.
The fire damage was concentrated in the front section of the home, though there is smoke damage throughout the house.
Neighbors said they never saw the blaze just smoke billowing out the windows and roof.
