NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Police responded to a tactical situation Friday night.
Police say 19-year old Mostapha Atwa was seen in the 700 block of 74th Street around 7 p.m.
Atwa was wanted for the robbery of a CNU student that occurred in October.
Accoring to police, he locked himself inside a home in the area and police spent nearly five hours getting him out.
Atwa was taken into custody by the Newport News Tactical Team at 12:15 a.m. No one was injured.
