Ronald Perry
NORFOLK, Va. – An inmate from the Sussex II Prison escaped through a chain link fence in Norfolk on Friday, according to the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.
Ronald Perry escaped for a short period of time while he was being escorted from the Norfolk Consolidated Courthouse back to the Norfolk City Jail.
Perry was apprehended and taken back into custody by court security personnel.
No one was injured in the incident and Perry has been charged with escape without force.
Perry is currently serving a 58 year sentence at the Sussex II Prison.
