The superintendent of Franklin City Public Schools, Dr. Willie Bell, was dismissed by the School Board from his position on Monday.
The City Manager said the School Board “took action to dismiss his contract without cause” at a meeting on Friday evening.
Dr. Kelvin Edwards, Director of Teaching, Learning and Accountability, will serve as the interim superintendent.
