The First Warning Storm Team is tracking roller coaster temperatures over the next few days.
After a cool and windy day, winds will ease up this evening and overnight. Mostly clear skies as we move through tonight. It’ll be on the chilly side with lows in the low to mid 40s.
On Friday, for Veterans Day, we’re expecting a warmup with plenty of sunshine. It will however, be a bit on the breezy side with winds out of the northwest around 10-15 mph. Highs will climb into the mid 60s. A cold front will move in Friday night. This is a dry front, so we’re not expecting any rain, but we are expecting the coldest air so far this season.
We’ll see highs on Saturday in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Early Sunday morning, we’ll see temperatures in the low and mid 30s! By Sunday afternoon, highs will climb back into the upper 50s.
Early next week, highs will be in the lower 60s. But we’ll have to watch the forecast closely. Some of our forecast models are hinting at an area of low pressure forming along our coast, bringing wind and rain. We’ll keep an eye on it.
