PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A 3rd grade teacher in Philadelphia is getting attention for her positive message in her classroom.
Jasmyn Wright said on her Facebook page that they do an exercise every morning to set the tone for the day. Her students are encouraged to push through distractions, adversity, and challenges.
In the video she can be heard asking the students a series of questions, and they respond.
A few of the questions and responses are:
What if it’s too tough? “I’m going to push through.”
What if you just can’t do it? “That ain’t true.”
Nelson Mandela, “He pushed though.”
“I can do anything I put my mind to.”
