PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A suspect has been arrested for trying to rob a person at an ATM on Thursday morning.
28-year-old Jovonte Trotter has been charged with attempted robbery.
Portsmouth Police responded to a call from the 7-Eleven at 600 Fredrick Blvd., for the attempted robbery of a person.
The caller said the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
Police say as they were responding to the area they located the suspect vehicle with a male subject inside who matched the description of the robbery suspect.
No one was injured in the incident.
