VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Just as shoppers get ready for the holidays, police are investigating several car break-ins near Town Center.

Police have reports of several break-ins happening around the Columbus Stadium 12 movie theater in the past week. Glass still covers one parking spot, possibly related to a window being smashed.

Police reports details some of the damage, including $300 to one car and $250 to another. Police say they believe at least three of the cases are related.

"I normally feel really safe when I come out to Town Center," said Kim Gross, a nearby shopper. "I am really surprised."
