HAMPTON, Va. – Police are looking for a suspect in an armed bank robbery that happened Monday afternoon.
The incident happened in the 2100 block of Coliseum Drive at Eastern Virginia Bank shortly before 12:30 p.m.
According to police, a male suspect entered the bank, displayed a firearm and demanded money.
He received an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the bank.
The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a black and yellow hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans and sneakers when he was last seen.
Police believe the suspect may be traveling in a silver sedan with New York license plates.
