AMARILLO, Texas – A pastor with Last Frontier Evangelism and Repent Armarillo is taking the heat after filming himself telling children that Santa isn’t real.

The video shows Grisham telling kids who are in line to meet Santa that Santa doesn’t exist and Christmas is about Jesus Christ.

“Kids, I wanted to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus,” Grisham said. “Santa Claus does not exist. The Christmas season is about Jesus. Jesus was born 2016 years ago, he was born in a manger in a small town called Bethlehem.”

Grisham originally posted the video on his personal Facebook page. According to Last Frontier Evangelism, the video was taken down by Facebook. His wife reposted it to her page shortly after.

“Don’t lie and tell your children that there is such a thing as Santa, when you know in reality that there are no flying reindeer. There is no workshop at the North Pole. There is (sic) no elves making toys. You buy all of the gifts and put them under the tree, that’s the truth.”

Several people waiting in line confront Grisham and tell their children not to listen to him.

At the end of the video, several men confront Grisham.

“Stop, it’s not about you coming over here preaching. Go on. Quit talking this mess, do you understand me?” one of the men said.

Grisham posted a similar anti-Santa rant video on his Facebook page a few days prior to the most recent video, saying:

One of the malls Last Frontier Evangelism intends to preach the truth OF Christmas. We intend to rebuke the parents for lying to their kids and we intend to bust the LIE that Santa Clause exists to the kids. Saints, please do this in a mall in your city. Kids are being diverted from Christ by the lie of Santa. Let’s go to the malls this Christmas shopping season and set the record straight with the kids and their lying parents.
