NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk International Airport reported a 5% increase in passenger activity for the month of November with 266,639 passengers.
This figure compares to a November 2015 passenger count of 253,748.
The airport said November marks the 18th consecutive month of year-over-year growth.
For the January – November 2016 period, passenger activity has increased nearly 6% versus the same period in 2015.
In other activity, 5,691,127 pounds of cargo were shipped in and out of the airport during November 2016.
This represents a 27% increase versus November 2015, which saw 4,472,750 pounds of cargo shipped.
For the January – November 2016 period, cargo activity has increased 10% versus the same period in 2015.
These figures are based on service by American, Delta, Southwest, United and their regional airline partners.
All-cargo carriers include FedEx, UPS and Mountain Air Cargo.
