Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk firefighters were busy battling flames from a 2-alarm fire at a home on West Freemason Street.
It happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday night.
When firefighters arrived, they saw flames coming through the structure’s windows
Officials tell News 3 the home was vacant and under renovations at the time of the fire.
No other homes were damaged.
One firefighter was sent to the hospital for observation because of exhaustion. There are no other reported injuries.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
