I-64 aluminum can spill
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Three lanes of I-64 westbound were shut down on Thursday due to debris in the roadway.
Virginia State Police say a large number of aluminum cans have been dropped onto the interstate in Newport News near J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
VDOT responded to the scene correct the problem. The lanes have since reopened.
