Man charged with DUI after crashing into Chesapeake pharmacy

David Founds was charged with DUI

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – A 54-year-old man has been arrested for DUI after crashing his vehicle into a Chesapeake pharmacy on Friday.

The call came in Friday around 12 p.m. reporting that a car had crashed into Lawrence Pharmacy in the 1100 block of George Washington Highway.

The driver, identified as 54-year-old David Founds, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Upon his release, he was arrested and charged with DUI.

Officials say no one else was injured.
