NORFOLK, Va. – A man was sent to the hospital after he fell from a balcony at an apartment in the 1300 block of Bayville Court.
The call came in Sunday shortly after 11:30 a.m.
When crews arrived, the 24-year-old man was found with life-threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene and flown by Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General for further treatment.
According to Norfolk Fire officials, the man fell approximately three stories.
Police say a preliminary investigation suggests no foul play was involved.
