NORFOLK, Va. – Police in Norfolk responded to a threat to public safety, according to a tweet.
NPD went to the in the 7800 block of Lisa Drive to assist a person in crisis.
Lisa Drive was closed from E. Little Creek Rd. to Harmon St. for police staging.
After unsuccessful attempts to reach the man, police went into his home and found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
