The Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office held their annual Cops & Kids Christmas charity event on Saturday.
Twenty local kids were paired up with law enforcement officers to shop for Christmas presents at a Virginia Beach Target store. The kids are referred by the police chaplains and the City Department of Human Services.
The Virginia Beach Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #8 raises money for the event with support from the Virginia Beach Police Department and the Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office.
