VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Beach Police Department is working a “serious” motorcycle crash in the 1000 block of Independence Boulevard Friday afternoon. 
Authorities say one southbound lane of Independence Boulevard is closed between Haygood Road and Witchduck Road. Motorists should expect delays.
