HAMPTON, Va. – Police are investigating after a person was shot Saturday night.
The shooting was reported around 7:13 p.m. from the 900 block of Florida Street.
Officers found a 23-year-old Hampton female inside of a residence suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to a local hospital by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue to be treated for a non-life threatening injury.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation and there is no suspect information to release at this time.
