PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A monument in Portsmouth was damaged during a crash in the early morning hours Saturday.
Police said it was a single vehicle crash and that it’s a DUI investigation.
The driver was taken to local hospital for non-life threatening injuries around 2 a.m.
The monument was struck and has minor damage but the railing/fence around it has severe damage.
There is no further information at this time.
