NORFOLK, Va. - The 53rd annual Priority Toyota Charity Bowl took place Saturday, raising money for 45 different children's charities around Hampton Roads with a fun-filled day of football.
In addition to Old Dominion University's spring game, the event featured live music by The Bacon Brothers Band.
According to organizers, last year's Charity Bowl raised over $776,000 for local charities.
Some of the charities the game benefited include Achievable Dream Academies, Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia, Lighting the Way at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters and the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
