NATO Festival: Parade of Nations
The Norfolk NATO festival is set to have its annual Parade of Nations downtown on Saturday.
According to organizers, it's the only parade in the U.S. that honors NATO. The parade starts at 10 a.m., and beginning at 8 a.m., several roads in downtown Norfolk will be shut down ahead of the parade.
The Virginia International Tattoo is back for its 25th year and it returns to the scope arena. It kicks off Thursday and runs until Sunday.
The tattoo is a military musical performance featuring groups from around the world. Performances begin each night at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10 for kids, and $20 for adults.
Charity Car Show at Langley Speedway
The Charity Car Show returns to the Langley Speedway in Hampton this weekend.
On Sunday, they will host eight classes of judged cars, while also putting some cars on display. It starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.
Organizers promise family fun, vendors, food and more. the proceeds go to local children’s charities.
Tickets are free for spectators and 25 dollars if you want to enter your car to be judged.
