Waterside District Celebrates it’s 5th anniversary
Five years ago, the 40-million-dollar waterfront overhaul was completed-- and local businesses are looking to celebrate.
Friday kicks off a weekend of sunset deck parties and a country concert.
on Saturday, there will be a full day of live and local music starting at 11 a.m.
From Friday, May 13th- Wednesday, May 18th the Waterside District will play host to Virginia’s famous life-sized "Love" sign-- which is 16 feet long and more than six feet high, and is an extension of the 50-year-old "Virginia is for Lovers" brand, if you are looking for a photo-op.m

Norfolk Family Movie Night
How about a family movie night?
Norfolk parks and recreation is hosting a showing of Encanto on the lawn outside of lake Taylor Middle School, 1380 Kempsville Rd, Norfolk.
The event begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday and it is completely free! All you have to do is register online, and bring your own chair and popcorn.

Tidewater Comicon
Tidewater Comicon is back at the Virginia Beach Convention Center both Saturday May 15, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 16, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
There you'll find celebrities from your favorite films and TV shows, artists, cosplay, trivia and more.
Tickets range from 20 to 100 dollars and anyone under 10 gets in for free.
