Sunset on the River Concert Series
This week, Norfolk's Sunset on the River concert series continues at the Hermitage Museum. The Fuzz Band plays this Thursday, and there will also be food trucks, drinks and a whole lot more. Tickets for non-members will be $15 dollars. Members and kids under 10 get in for free.

Virginia Beach Farmers Market Honey Festival
Saturday is the Virginia Beach Farmers Market Honey Festival. You can get honey from local beekeepers, and there will be music, food trucks and crafters. It's from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the farmers market on Dam Neck Road.

Beach It!
And another big festival is hitting the Virginia Beach Oceanfront at the end of the week. "Beach It!," the Live Nation country music festival, is this Friday through Sunday. The lineup includes Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett. Tickets are still available, and a three-day pass costs $269.

Summer STEAM
If you are looking to avoid the summer slide, every Wednesday, the Pearl Bailey Library in Newport News is hosting "Summer STEAM." It's a chance for all kids to learn about art and science through fun activities. It's happening every Wednesday through the end of July at 3 p.m.

Rainbow Rodeo
On Wednesday, in honor of Pride Month, the Chrysler Museum is hosting what they're calling a "Rainbow Rodeo." From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be live entertainment, dancing, art and a mechanical bull. It is completely free, and we are told everyone is welcome.

Destination Dinosaur
Take a trip to prehistoric times with Destination Dinosaur in Newport News. The popular exhibit is back at the Virginia Living Museum. The exhibit, which runs until September, features eight animatronic dinos and several living fossils. Tickets for non-members start at $19.

Portsmouth Sunset Thursdays
Sunset Thursdays continue this week at Festival Park in Portsmouth! Every Thursday from now until the end of August, the park will feature a new local band. It's completely free to attend and there will be food and drinks on site.

Norfolk Pridefest
Pridefest officially returns to Town Point Park this weekend! This year, the event is celebrating 35 years of pride in Hampton Roads. Pridefest is happening Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. There will be live entertainment, food vendors and the nation's only Pride Boat Parade. This event is free and open to all.

Hampton Jazz Festival
The smooth sounds of jazz return to Hampton this Friday. The Hampton Jazz Festival is back at the Coliseum and will run all weekend long. It will feature dozens of world renowned jazz musicians, including Charlie Wilson, Fantasia, Baby Face and Kenny G. Tickets start at $75 per day. Parking is free.

757 Extravaganza and Marketplace
In connection with the festival, the Hampton Roads Convention Center is hosting the 757 Extravaganza and Marketplace. We are told there you can explore the history and culture of jazz while also buying merchandise. This is also happening Friday through Sunday, general admission is $60.
