WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — August 16 is National Roller Coaster Day and Busch Gardens Williamsburg is celebrating with an Ultimate Roller Coaster Insider Tour and continues into the night with after-hours events!
The Ultimate Roller Coaster Insider Tour features a lights-on tour of both Verbolten and the all new DarKoaster, and gives a behind-the-scenes look of control rooms, maintenance areas of at least four coasters, a Q&A session with Vice President of Design & Engineering Suzy Cheely, and a commemorative lanyard.
To end the insider tour, participants can enjoy a picnic with Park President Kevin Lembke and priority Quick Queue access to all of the operating coasters in the park!
This year the park is adding an all new party event in the Festa Italia section of the park.
Park attendees can enjoy nighttime rides on coasters Pantheon, Apollo's Chariot and Tempesto.
There will be a DJ, food and drinks, and coaster-themed giveaways throughout the night!
The event is included in park admission and is one night only.
