Heather Eckstine started her journey at WTKR in 2020 as an Editor and Photojournalist and after working in the field for two years, jumped into the digital realm.
A Hampton native, Heather graduated from James Madison University in 2019 with a bachelors degree in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Journalism and minor in Music Industry.
Heather loves finding out what makes the algorithm tick and how to make the most of our digital content.
Outside of work, you can find her with a camera in her hand shooting different creative projects or playing with her black lab.
