HAMPTON ROADS, VA—November is National Adoption Month, aimed at raising awareness about the thousands of children who are waiting to be adopted into permanent homes. Established in 1995 by President Bill Clinton, Shineforth, a local agency, seeks to illuminate the adoption process and the experiences of adoptive parents.
Coast recently spoke with a Shineforth representative and a parent who is also employed at the agency to gain their insights into the adoption process.
