HAMPTON ROADS, VA— Anthony Boatner is a self-taught musician who began performing in his backyard woodshed and at local open mic events in the Tidewater area in 2018.
Music became his therapy during challenging times in his life. He bought his first guitar from a pawn shop for $40, and it has proven to be one of the best investments he has ever made. To date, Boatner has written 21 original songs and sings both original music and covers.
