And, there simply aren’t enough people donating regularly to meet the ongoing need. American Red Cross President and CEO Gail J. McGovern discusses the Red Cross's new collaboration called Give Blood to Give Time, which raises awareness about the importance of blood donations and how to help patients fight cancer.
