The Associated Press is projecting that Rob Wittman is reelected for Virginia's 1st Congressional District.
This district stretches from near Northern Virginia, near Richmond and down near Williamsburg.
AP called the projection with 210 of 244 precincts (86%) reporting.
Republican candidate Rob Wittman was at 69% of votes when AP projected his reelection. His democratic opponent, Qasim Rashid was at 31%
