VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Jody Wagner has conceded to Bobby Dyer in the Virginia Beach Mayor campaign.
Bobby Dyer will serve as the mayor of Virginia Beach for a second term as he is projected to win against challengers Jody Wagner and Richard Kowalewitch.
Wagner released the following statement on Facebook:
Wagner says she called to congratulate Dyer and both agree that unity is what the city needs.
Wagner is a business owner who ran for Congress as a Democrat in 2009. She has also served as State Treasurer and Secretary of Finance, but she has never won elected office.
