Republican Bob Steinburg projected to win reelection for North Carolina's 1st District

The Associated Press projects Republican incumbent Bob Steinburg winning reelection over Democrat Tess Judge for the North Carolina State Senate's 1st District.

The win marks Steinburg's second term. He also previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives.

Judge is a small business owner who lost a House race in 2018.
